In 1685 two great musicians were born within 130 km of each other, and both had a profound influence on music. Their careers took off in different directions and they never met. Patrick will reunite these two giants of music, tracking their lives over six decades. The focus will be on their vocal music which has inspired Patrick’s career as a countertenor and conductor.
Lecturer Patrick Craig is the Vicar Choral at St Paul’s Cathedral and has enjoyed an international career singing with the world renowned Tallis Singers and The Cardinall’s Musick. He has conducted concerts at the BBC Proms, the Aldeburgh Festival and the City of London Sinfonia.
