Banksy: Fraud or Genius?

A mural by Banksy

This lecture traces Banksy’s humble beginnings as a tagger on the streets in Bristol in the 1980s to becoming one of the most recognizable names in the world of art. It explores the reasons for his rise, his famous stunts and his legacy and influence on the art market.

Lecturer Pepe Martinez, born and bred Londoner, having previously worked as a stage manager, is a Blue Badge Guide in London and gives a range of tours in the city, including about the street art and graffiti.
